  • Thank you so much! This class was truly amazing. It has opened my eyes to the world of meditation. Everyone young and old should do this.

  • I already knew about the benefits of infant massage before I took the classes, and I was looking for a way to help Rose develop a bedtime routine. She was a bit young for stories, but I found that massage worked well. Through the classes, I discovered that an important part of infant massage is the ‘permission sequence’. When Susan taught this concept, I was a little sceptical about whether Rose would actually recognise that I was giving the cue for massage and whether I would be able to interpret her response. I was surprised by how quickly she came to know the signal and how her body relaxed and stilled in anticipation. Susan’s background in teaching is evident in her classes. She has a lovely warm and friendly style and the ‘hands-on’ approach means that you are actually ‘learning’ not just ‘being taught’. The addition of written material is very handy to reinforce your new skills…particularly for sleep deprived parents! The importance of touch in infant development is undisputed, and learning infant massage helped me to bond with my baby. I would absolutely recommend Susan as a provider of infant massage classes.

  • I’m a stay at home mum to 2 beautiful children, and I’ve been having regular remedial massages with Susan for the last 4 years.  I was pregnant with my 2nd when I needed some relief from the aches and pains of pregnancy.  Massage helped get me though my pregnancy and now the massages help me with the stressors of parenting.  I love my regular massages as it is my treat to myself which I couldn’t do without.

  • I am an office worker who enjoys exercising regularly, be that running, walking, riding and weight training. I see Susan on a regular basis to ensure that I am reaching my training goals and keep the aches and pains at bay. I always look forward to my hour massage with her. She does a thorough consult before I get on the table and addresses each ache and pain once on the table. She always ensures that it is a comfortable environment throughout the seasons and it is always inviting. If you are looking for a massage therapist that knows how to get into those sore spots, Susan is it. Definitely value for money!

  • I was always interested in baby massage as a unique way of bonding with my baby, but Susan soon showed me that there were numerous benefits. Some of the techniques I learnt enabled me sooth my baby in time of need such as blocked sinuses or constipation. When your baby is upset it can be very stressful – baby massage helped us both to relax and calm down the situation through gentle touch, slow breathing and some reassuring eye contact. On a daily basis it was just a lovely way to engage with each other and was also a fun way for my baby to learn about the different parts of his body! Susan was an excellent instructor – not only professional and caring but also respectful to my baby's needs. Susan was informative and learned in technique and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

  • During the course I was able to develop my awareness of various meditation styles. Great to find short meditations like 'spot meditations' that I can use during the busyness of a day, to find time to just be!

  • Before I came to see Susan, I was concerned about how Massimo would behave during massage classes, the time of day the classes would be held and the temperature of the room. I was also concerned about how I would remember the techniques. After completing the class, I was pleasantly surprised by how flexible Susan was and how focussed she was on meeting Massimo's needs. I was able to attend to Massimo (e.g. feed, play, cuddle) while Susan tailored the activities so that we would still learn and practice the content. Two particular issues that the class solved for me included: achieving relaxation to assist me in wind down time for baby, and relieving his tummy pain. I love the way that Susan was flexible in her teaching method. I found her to be very approachable and practical in the skills she teaches.  She was also flexible in making appointment times, and had the room warm and ready for us when we arrived. Susan was very kind to my baby, and my baby seemed relaxed around her (this is quite rare for my son!). I also liked that she provided me with materials to go home with so that I could refer to them at any time. I would definitely recommend Susan's services to others, I'd love for them to have the same great experience that I did!

  • As a mature aged participant in this course, I found it very interesting, informative and enjoyable. It helped me realize that I can meditate and feel more relaxed without needing heaps of time to do so. Also, that meditation can be for EVERYONE!
